Resume Writing Process

STEP #1 SELECT YOUR INVESTMENT LEVEL ONLINE OR SET UP INTRODUCTORY PHONE CALL

Select your investment level online or set up a brief introductory call with Annette to discuss your current situation, your needs and how we can help you.

STEP #2 RESUME SUBMITTED FOR REVIEW

After you have selected your investment level Annette will need to review a copy of your most recent resume to prepare a series of worksheets. The worksheets are designed to dig-deeper, to gather more in-depth details on your skills, experience, and goals. That’s where you come in.  Crafting a winning resume is a collaborative effort—the more information you provide the more she will have to work with. Most people find that completing the worksheets helps them prepare for the job-search process as a whole.

STEP #3 COMPLETE AND RETURN WORKSHEETS

Once Annette receives your completed worksheets your project will be placed on the writing schedule.* She will set up a call to review and clarify any details before completing a first draft of your document.

STEP #4 DATA-MINING

During the data-mining (via email or phone call) Annette will clarify information, discuss strategies, and gather additional insights.

STEP #5 FIRST DRAFT PREPARED AND DELIVERED

After the data-mining call a first draft of your document is developed and forwarded to you for your review.

STEP #6 FIRST ROUND OF REVIEWS/REVISIONS

At this point you will have the opportunity to suggest any changes or refinements to the document and send your edits to Annette via email.  (This does not include adding new information.) She will revise your resume and send it to you for your review.

STEP #7 SECOND ROUND OF REVIEWS/REVISIONS

You will have a second opportunity to suggest any edits, revisions, or corrections. (This does not include adding new information.) Annette will revise your resume and send a final version for a Quality Control check.

STEP #8 QUALITY CONTROL CHECK

The Quality Control check is to make any last minute changes. At this point revisions are limited to making any corrections needed.

STEP #9 FINAL RESUME DELIVERED

Any last minute changes are made and the final resume is delivered.

*The average turn-around time once your project is in the writing schedule is 5 to 10 business days.
